We’re all friends and colleagues within the arts, but like each other trade it’s divided between those who have determination-making energy and safety of income and employment, and people who don’t. At the highest of Maslow’s hierarchy is self-actualisation. For an artist, this implies with the ability to practice their art. A singer needs to sing; a dancer needs to bounce; a musician must play; an actor needs to act. However, the industry as it’s presently structured prevents artists – and particularly performers – from having the ability to work besides in a sporadic and unpredictable method.
After teaching ballet and pre-college dance within the South Bay for over twenty years and as a instructor in the east bay we’re proud to Welcome Kristin to Triple Threat Performing Arts. Kristin has danced at the Los Gatos Academy and the San Jose Dance Theater. Kristin makes a speciality of ballet method in addition to growing creativity and a love for dance. Her years of experience and love for her students make her shine as a instructor. Bill is a native of Michigan and moved to the bay area in 2003.
